Position Summary :
- QlikSense Administrator is responsible for maintaining our Enterprise BI platform, QlikSense at Rimini Street. In this position, the administrator, would suggest architecture design, prepare data models, develop and implement Enterprise wide BI solutions.
- This position will work closely with business users from various departments, DBA and our Lead BI analyst to deliver solutions meeting deadlines.
- As a Qlik Administrator, you would be maintaining the BI system(s), ensure continuous availability and plan minimal downtime when needed.
- This position would also involve in building BI solutions such as executive metrics, dashboards, reports, ad-hoc analysis and provide required support for existing solutions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Strong working knowledge with Qlik Management Console (QMC).
- Experience in Qlik configuration, design, audit and manage access controls, managing QMC resources.
- Experience in troubleshooting QMC issues.
- Experience in managing Qlik site for a medium to large organization.
- Ability to perform Capacity planning for the QlikSense Site.
- Proven capability of applying patches, performing Qlik upgrades.
- Identify, analyze, architect and develop data models, and deliver integrated, scalable BI solutions in Qlik Sense.
- Understand business requirements, provide estimates to build required solution in Qlik Sense.
- Evaluate, design, and develop business intelligence reporting and dashboards according to functional specifications, business requirements while maintaining data integrity and data quality.
- Work collaboratively with BI team to translate business information needs into well-defined data requirements to implement the BI solutions.
- Leverage transactional information, data from ERP, CRM, HRIS, Data Warehouse applications to model, extract, and transform into reporting & analytics.
- Define and document the use of BI through user experience/use cases, prototypes, test, and deploy BI solution.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities :
- Work cross-functionally to understand the data from source systems such as, Salesforce, Service Now, SharePoint, MS Dynamics AX, ADP, JIRA, Adaptive planning.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment, work with Infrastructure, and Network teams on the QlikSense server needs.
- Proactive monitoring, manage and maintain the Qlik Site to ensure high availability.
Education : Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience :
- 5-9 Years of experience data analysis, data modeling in Qlik Sense.
- Working experience with managing Qliksite(s), QMC, Data Modeling, Entity-relationships, interactive UI building, dashboarding,
Skills :
- Qlik certification is a big plus.
- Experience in Performance Optimization of the Qlik Site.
- Knowledge of configuring and setting up APIs in QlikSense.
- Knowledge of BI Best Practices/Methodologies, relational structures, dimensional data modeling, data warehouse and reporting techniques.
- Experience in defining requirements for metrics/scorecards, dashboards, KPIs, OLAP analysis, ad-hoc, and structured reports.
- Advanced knowledge and hands on experience with SQL. Understanding of multi-dimensional and relational database data organization concepts.
- Strong customer service orientation that places high value on customer satisfaction.
- Strong interpersonal collaboration and team skills including working with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
- Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Data Warehouse, Dell Boomi, Informatica ETL, Qlik Mobile would be a big plus.
