Salesforce Administrator & DevOps Engineer

Description :

Dextara Digital (www.dextara.com) is looking for a Salesforce Administrator and DevOps Engineer to provide tools for Continuous Delivery Services to all engineering teams in the Business Technology function of Salesforce.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle; experience in Quality Assurance processes, methodologies, and best practices; hands-on skills with test automation tools. The candidate must be able to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced team driven environment, and have the ability to communicate well with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities :

- Build, automate, deploy and operate highly available, robust, resilient and secure solutions on Salesforce platform.

- Strong familiarity working within Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban

- Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other configuration tasks.

- Independently analyze application and system problems and incidents; develop recommendations and solutions for those problems, implement those solutions, and provide communications on the associated actions, business impacts, and results.

- Provide support to end users to resolve any salesforce related issues.

- Analyze and maintain salesforce security, in terms of ensuring Profiles, Permission Sets have the right permissions provided

- Evaluate application software packages and make buy vs. build recommendations to management.

- Complete regular internal system audits and plan and prepare for upgrades

- Stay informed on Salesforce releases, platform enhancements and AppExchange to recommend features or add-ons for app optimization.

- Seek out opportunities to utilize SFDC to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace

- Configure and administer the salesforce platform by following best practices.

Required Skills :

- 3-6 years of experience in Salesforce Administration/DevOps work or similar role with strong technical and functional proficiency in Salesforce administrative tasks.

- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD Process and code versioning systems

- Good knowledge of CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins(PAC), or similar tools

- Proficiency with source control, continuous integration, and testing pipelines.

- A strong background in open source technology and DevOps tools.

- Fluency in one or more scripting languages such as shell, Python or Ruby or similar language

- Experience or knowledge on AWS and another cloud IaaS provider.

- Understanding on RDBMS concepts Knowledge on Salesforce is add-on

- Ability to keep pace with rapid changes in DevOps domain Experience in managing and migrations of complex infrastructure hosting hybrid applications Accommodations

- Exposure to Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, Lightning Components, LWC, Vlocity and/or the Salesforce.com API, and an interest in developing these skills

- Strong unit testing abilities and attention to detail

- Good understanding of development & release procedures, upgrade cycle, and best practices to develop on the Force.com platform

- Preferred Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II And/Or Admin Certified

- Salesforce Vlocity DevOps experience a plus
