Senior Developer I - Peoplesoft HRMS Module (6-8 yrs) (Nikos Consulting Private Limited)

Job Title - Senior Developer I - Peoplesoft HRMS

ABOUT YOUR ROLE :

- You will be part of our Global Application and Integration team that, amongst others, also works on our Oracle EBS and Salesforce platforms. You will have ample opportunity to learn new skills and participate in projects that shape how we will do human capital management in the future.

- You will be an internal consultant, providing technical guidance or business process expertise on Peoplesoft HRMS incidents, problems and enhancements or providing solutions to various Peoplesoft HRMS matters from a technical or business standpoint and ensure on-time delivery.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE :

- Provide a high level of Customer Service to stakeholders, by resolving issues in a timely, courteous manner ensuring minimal interruption of service for the Peoplesoft HRMS applications (HR, Payroll, Benefits) and bolt on applications.

- Provide expertise within assigned projects, in the analysis, design, development and integration between business applications.

- Analyze and document business requirements and design or recommend cost effective solutions.

- Develop new and maintain existing applications using standard programming languages and development methodologies.

- Develop and execute test plans that ensure systems and application integrity and quality.

- Develop documentation for all relevant changes / enhancements

- Assist in developing and maintaining corporate standards for applications development.

- Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating / identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions.

- Provide support services related to deployment of data fixes and bulk uploads.

- Work in a flexible schedule to ensure that the critical activities like Payroll in various geographies are completed as per the timelines.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU : 

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline or equivalent work experience and technical training, is required.

- Must have 6 to 8 years of experience in development and support of PeopleSoft HRMS.

- Must have 4+ years of hands-on experience with administration of PeopleSoft 9.1 (or later) applications in scope HR, Payroll, Benefits.

- Must have 5+ years of Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft development and maintenance.

- Must have 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL/SQR development and maintenance.

- Must have 3+ years of experience with ERP integrations like Oracle R12 or SAP or MfgPro/QAD.

- Must have 3+ years of experience with 3rd party integration like, ADP, Concur etc.

- Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience with country extensions.

Should have experience on following :

- Crystal Reports

- XML-Publisher

- IBM Maestro Scheduler

- Quest Stat for Peoplesoft

- SQL Server administration

- SQL Server performance tuning

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.

- Willingness to proactively work with various business and IT stakeholders; schedule and lead video / conference calls to own the problem and get it resolved.

- Results oriented with the ability to demonstrate strong creative and analytical problem solving skills.

- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional teams and foster team commitment to tasks.

- Strong time management skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks / projects.

QUALIFICATIONS : A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline or equivalent work experience and technical training, is required.
