Pesto Tech - Technical System Administrator - Server/Networking (2-5 yrs) (Pesto Tech)

Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, upgrade and maintain Application Servers and related products like database configuration, application installation & maintenance and monitoring

- Consult end-users in determining various improvement needs based on system functional requirements

- Evaluating daily, weekly and monthly analysis of issues/incidents using Microsoft Power BI, Tableau & Service Now and identifying pain areas which need attention.

- Install new and rebuild existing servers, configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.

- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.

- Perform regular security monitoring to identify possible intrusions.

- Configure and optimize web servers, Log servers, Database servers

- Provided technical support and training to end-users in every day operations related to software needs.

Requirement:

- Bachelor's degree with a technical major, such as Engineering, Computer Science or relevant practical experience.

- 2+ years of experience working with networks (servers or network devices), monitoring and performance systems

- Advanced knowledge of configuration management tools

- Expertise in doing RCA (root-cause analysis) and collaborating with development teams for CoE (correction of errors).

- Solid understanding of Software installs or updates that require root access

- Experience in Hybrid Infra Administration, Monitoring & Support, Database Management, Application/Software Support

- Experience of working on tools like - Salesforce, Stripe, Airtable, Razorpay, hackerRank, Zapier is an added advantage
