Wingify - Senior Manager - Business Analytics/Data Engineering (6-10 yrs) (Wingify)

We are looking to hire a Senior Manager mainly tasked with handling the entire business analytics function of Wingify.

Responsibilities :

- Build infrastructure for a central data warehouse consisting of data from all functions from business

- Enable the organization to access data and reports needed for business, product, and operations insights

- Continuously mine for surprising movements/insights across business functions and communicate it to relevant stakeholders for action

- Deliver ad-hoc requests for business insights and dashboards

- Work with Data Sciences team to build predictive models to help forecast business-relevant KPIs

- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements

- Maintain security protocols while handling company data.

- Lead a team of 6-7 individuals, comprising business analysts and data engineers.

Must have qualifications :

- You should be an engineer or have an engineering mindset

- You need to know Advanced SQL or Python (knowing both is best)

- Experience building data warehouse architecture, design, and implementation from scratch for a business (SaaS industry experience preferred)

- Have lead or managed a team before

Good to have :

- Previous experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Manager (of more than 6 years).

- Experience with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform ecosystem

- Understanding of SaaS, key metrics, business methodology, and tools like Salesforce, Marketo, Zendesk, Segment, Amplitude, etc.

- Understanding of scalable data visualization projects (especially with Tableau).

- Experience with ETL tools like Dataflow, Talend, Informatica, Alteryx, etc is a plus.

- Understanding of statistics and data modeling is a plus.
