Salesforce/Copado Developer - DevOps/CI/CD (5-8 yrs) (Independent Consultant)

Responsibilities

- Plan and execute scheduled releases for multiple Salesforce/Copado instances.

- Owns environment management and oversees technical deployment to QA /Prod environment across all systems.

- Coordinates code merge for releases to production

- Ensure proper tracking of released components in version control.

- Assume ownership and continuous improvement of the release process by documenting release issues and developing plans to improve process or automation.

- Prepare release notes and communicate release progress/status to the DevOps PMO and Stakeholders.

- Work closely with development staff to resolve to build problems/merge conflicts.

- Responsible for maintaining consistency between Salesforce sandbox environments, from Development through QA, UAT, and Production.

- Manage deployments between sandbox environments.

- Ensure development sandboxes are functional and ready for use after deployments or Salesforce releases.

- Data-loading/seeding of sandbox environments to provide functional environments for development and testing.

- Support the development operations structure and audit needs of the DevOps PMO team

- Complete regular internal system audits and prepares for upgrades.

Qualifications:

- 3 + years of Salesforce/Copado administration is required.

- Experience with JIRA/Confluence is required.

- Experience with Agile methodology is required.

- Experience managing multiple sandbox environments are required.

- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD is required.

- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
