Heady Technologies - Salesforce Commerce Cloud Engineer - Demandware (3-7 yrs) (Heady Technologies Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.)

Role :

Heady is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to support Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) platform.

As the SFCC Developer, you will be responsible for working closely with the product owner along with a cross-functional team to implement new eCommerce solutions in an agile environment including development and testing.

You will serve as a technical expert with deep experience with the SFCC platform and Open Commerce API (OCAPI) development.

Responsibilities :

- Provide Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) technology expertise for solution design and technical implementation

- Build new Open Commerce API (OCAPI) endpoints and update existing ones as per requirements.

- Software design, code, unit test, and code review iterative improvements to the platform

- Independently deliver high-quality and well-documented code

- Collaborate across teams to determine the best path for Salesforce platform implementation

- Master the Salesforce development process, culture, and codebase, in order to improve it

- Handle basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks

- Understand the ins and outs of complex technology environments and know how to optimize solutions for efficiency and simplicity

- Stay in tune with latest Salesforce technology updates, changes, community, and roadmap(s)

- Ensure adherence to sound architecture

- Provide recommendations on ways to improve current DevOps processes

- Support existing environment including functional enhancements and issue resolution

Qualifications and Skills :

- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or similar degrees

- Minimum 3 years experience in working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware)

- Experience with Open Commerce API (OCAPI)

- 3 years hands-on experience in web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, JQuery, Node, Angular, web analytics, XML, web services (SOAP/REST), and open-source packages/libraries

- Must have hands-on SFCC and Java development experience.

- Must have worked on at least 2-3 end to end implementations of SFCC commerce projects.

- Knowledge of digital commerce components such as users, catalog, pricing, inventory, and payment

- Knowledge of digital commerce integration such as CMS, DAM, PIM, OMS, and ERP

- Experience with git source control and collaboration tool such as JIRA, Confluence, Slack

- Experience in agile development methodology

- Strong active listening, multitasking, interpersonal and organizational skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have :

- Certifications in Salesforce Commerce Cloud

- Experience doing development on the Salesforce Core platform including APEX, Visualforce, and/or Lightning Components
