Job Description : Salesforce Release Engineer

We are looking for a Release Engineer having experience in Salesforce Platform deployment processes. In this role, you- ll collaborate with Business, Development and QA teams for our customer applications related to Release Engineering and Deployment activities.

The Responsibilities Include :

- Work with our customers for the on-time successful release of their Salesforce applications in line with the release process blueprint designed by our Architect Team

- Ensure that all pre-post release operations (including metadata and data) are taken care of for all the environments scoped for release

- Work with Onsite and Offshore resources

- Be an SME for the Salesforce DevOps initiative at the customer place and provide training or troubleshooting help for the development teams

- Build self-help guides for the development teams based on the issues and learnings identified in releases

- Ensure you have a monthly cadence with the customer leadership team as well as an Account management team on the progress of the DevOps charter

- Provide support for the troubleshooting of DevOps infrastructure

Basic Qualifications :

- Experience with the Salesforce.com platform and at least 2+ years managing multiple Salesforce project deployments.

- Experience in version control systems and build/deployment tools is required.Prior working experience with AutoRABIT will be an added advantage.

- Strong understanding and experience with metadata including experience with deployment via metadata, Change Sets, Force.com IDE, ANT, etc. -

- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) experience desired.
