Unilog - Senior Web Developer - Javascript/ES6 (5-7 yrs) (Unilog)

Qualification, Experience & Skill Set Required :

- Education : Any Degree with CS background.

- Related Experience : 4-6 years in web development.

- Job Training : Front end development.

- Technologies - Html / Html5, CSS/CSS3, Responsive Web Design, Advanced JavaScript (ES6) and JQuery, Bootstrap.

- Any CMS experience - Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, CSS Preprocessor (LESS/SASS/SCSS).

- Mandatory (any one) - React.Js/Angular Js,

- Knowledge of any bug tracking tool (Jira/Salesforce/ Bugzilla)

- Experience in Agile/ Scrum methodologies.

- Mentoring Junior Web developers (Preferable)

- Design - Knowledge of Design, build, or maintain Web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media.

- English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

- Deductive Reasoning - The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

- Inductive Reasoning - The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events).

- Problem Sensitivity - The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.

The main roles & responsibilities :

- Design, build, or maintain Web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media.

- Perform or direct Web site updates.

- Write, design, or edit Web page content, or direct others producing content.

- Back up files from Web sites to local directories for instant recovery in case of problems.

- Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback, and correct problems or refer problems to appropriate personnel for correction.

- Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.

- Maintain understanding of current Web technologies or programming practices through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups.

- Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.

- Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.

- Processing Information - Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.

- Making Decisions and Solving Problems - Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

- Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates - Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.

- Identifying Objects, Actions, and Events - Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.

- Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work - Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
