Senior Solution Architect Role Description :

- The Senior Solution Architect role is a leadership role on the delivery team. The specifics of this role will be crafted to the individual and their skillset/interests. Sr SAs will move from being a generalist to a specialist in a discipline or technology and work on our largest projects.


- Promotion into this level will always entail a conversation and established path into the role of working with your Career Manager and delivery leadership. The following role description defines the incremental responsibilities for a Sr. SA beyond those defined at the Solution Architect level.

Certifications : Admin, Service and/or Sales Cloud, working toward Platform or specialty certifications

Project Responsibilities :

Analysis :

- Drive large scale Spotlight projects end to end for enterprise-size clients or agencies.

- Drive strategic thinking for enterprise-wide architecture and roadmaps with our larger accounts.

- Look for new techniques for analysis and design to incorporate into the overall methodology. Build, Test, Deploy

- Direct large scale build and test efforts for our enterprise clients and agencies.

- Accountable for full-scale to build efforts across multiple phases.

Competencies :

Subject Matter Expertise :


- Platform mastery

- Mastery in custom cloud solution architecture

- Specialty in a discipline or technology

Leadership :


- Company leader

- Part of the internal Salesforce leadership team

- Define strategies to help the practice grow and scale

Project Excellence :


- Enterprise Level accountability

- Responsible for enterprise-wide multi-phase projects.

- Responsible for setting strategy for multiple projects across technology or discipline

- Thought leader of Vertiba methodology - work to continually improve with new ideas, tactics, templates, etc.

Coach and Mentor :


- Career Manager

- Career manager to a larger set of resources (up to 5-6 people)

- Accountable for the success of a team including their utilization and key metrics

- Lead by example on project work (ie: teach new methodologies by including team during client workshops)

Business Development :


- Client Growth

- Support EMs with business development efforts to scope new projects within a given account (demos, SOW reviews, client relationships)

- Responsible for growth within a given enterprise-level account by identifying areas for continued work for that client

- Cultivate trustful relationships with clients; become a thought-leader for the client
