SalesForce Commerce Cloud Expert - Analytics Tools (3-10 yrs) (Live Connections)

Job description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

- A key contributor who will define coding standards, lead best practices for configuration and development of Salesforce infrastructure

- Responsible for solution design based on product requirements, code reviews and pull requests

- Manage day-to-day efforts to ensure smooth and efficient website updates including production updates, creative assets, code changes, and collaborating on new site initiatives

Collaborate with project team members and key client stakeholders to scope out projects, assist with requirements definition, specifications, vendor selections, design, development, and timelines for key initiatives

- Actively participate in daily project team meetings and brainstorming activities related to the project issues

- Collaborate with internal teams and technical resources on requirements gathering, issue logging and tracking and ongoing maintenance of e-commerce website

- Help to manage key tools and processes such as content management, code repository & image hosting and tag management

- Field all technical requests, assess scope and prioritize action items for senior management

- Assist with web production process definition, optimization and implementation

- Document all infrastructure processes, technical integrations, and website data flows

- This role reports to the Director of Development where 50% of the role will include hands on coding while the other half will be spent leading and mentioning several direct reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 6+ years of overall development experience

- 3+ years- experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (previously Demandware) development - a must!

- An expert with the following: HTML5/CSS3, Javascript, jQuery

- Experienced with implementing and updating web tags within Google Tag Manager (GTM)

- Experienced with Analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics/Omniture

- Agile development experience required

- Experience in code versioning and related tools, such as Bitbucket, Subversion, Git

- Experience in complex features and integrations

- Experience working on a beauty / luxury business to consumer website a plus, but not required

- Ability to deliver a range of multiple projects with strict timelines, simultaneously

- Understanding of Responsive Design

- Team player with a positive attitude who's highly organized & detail-oriented

- Strong communication skills
