Position Summary :

- The Technology Lead is a unique position at Kingfish and is charged with the mission of driving continuous improvement by increasing the efficiency, effectiveness and security of the firm's operations. As the key technical leader for a small and growing firm, this role spans both tech strategy and hands-on implementation. 


- This person is directly responsible for our current salesforce-based core platform as well as other systems and tools used across the firm. The Tech Lead manages and serves as the key point of contact for internal and external technical resources (contract IT firms, software vendors, etc.).

Responsibilities :


- Developing Kingfish's technology strategy and near-term objectives in collaboration with the firm's leadership

- Driving continuous improvement by implementing technical solutions to improve our core workflows including using salesforce components, 3rd party integrations and various alternative software.

- Develop a deep understanding of the business requirements and define solutions that meet both near- and long-term company objectives

- Evaluate alternatives including off-the-shelf vs. fully customized and make recommendations directly to firm leadership

- Lead technical development and implementation working directly in the back-end as well as managing development teams as necessary.

- Managing the firm's software, systems and IT vendors ensuring smooth operations across both our US and India Offices

- Work directly with the the software vendor's admin support teams (e.g. Google, Dropbox, Salesforce, Docusign etc.) to quickly resolve issues as they arise as well as remain current on upcoming new software releases changes and the potential impact on our firm

- Manage our India-based outsourced IT vendor and work closely with our US-based IT vendors to ensure the firm's network, hardware and software remain effective, operational and secure.

Candidate Profile :

- Experience: 6+ years of technical experience with Salesforce Development Certifications

- Technical knowledge: demonstrated mastery of Salesforce.com APIs, Lightning components, Salesforce data tools as well as customization (e.g. heroku). Ability to effectively debug and resolve technical issues.

- Project & people management: successfully managed complex technical projects including directly managing internal junior resources or external vendors

- Process & systems thinking: proven ability to translate business needs and constraints into potential solutions with a clear understanding of the trade-offs and impact on other aspects of the firm's operations

- Communication & Collaboration: excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to effectively collaborate with non-technical team members as well as with technical external stakeholders and relationships (e.g. w/ our Salesforce Rep or a contract IT firm)
