SFDC- Application Architect
Role & Responsibilities at job:
1. Defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes
2. Design applications and services to support domain and program demands ensuring
a. High levels of scalability and resilience
b. Industry competitive measure of performance
c. Seamless and responsive customer experience
d. Security and data privacy
3. Develop proofs-of-concept, prototypes, and frameworks for new systems and architectures that enable detailed technical planning for implementation teams
4. Drive integration strategy for enterprise platforms and applications
5. Interaction and integration with other SFDC/Non-SFDC based applications.
6. Ability to Lead and guide team of development team members with best practices and design intricacies.
7. Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX designers, Developers, Program Managers and with business to architect technology solutions to meet business needs
8. Facilitate the integration of business and technical architectures in support of customer's strategic goals, and ensuring that solutions are scalable, extensible, and maintainable moving forward.
Technical Competency
- Working Knowledge of web applications, databases and programming languages;
- Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices
- Demonstrated track record of major solution architecture contributions in a large enterprise.
- Experience with Microservices architecture.
- Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions
- Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth); Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL).
- Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, marketing automation, reporting, etc.).
- Experience with environment management, release management, source control, Continuous development and Continuous Integration (ANT, GitHub, Jenkins, Copado or similar)
- Deep experience in developing custom cloud-based applications outside of the Salesforce platform.
- SFDC Technical - Proficiency in Apex, Visual Force, SOQL, SOSL, Batch, Scheduling, Bulk Triggers, Callouts, Design Patterns, jQuery, JavaScript; HTML, Security Access, Reports, Dashboards, Workflows, Approvals, Page Layouts, Record Types, Assignment Rules, Validation Rules, Object Relationships, Schema Builder, Data Import/Export, data management tools - data loader, workbench etc.
- Logical Thinking - Able to think analytically, use a systematic and logical approach to analyze data, problems, and situations. Notices discrepancies and inconsistencies in information and materials.
Behavioral Competency:
- 12+ experience in web/cloud-based application development, management and maintenance.
- Good written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
- Excellent understanding of systems engineering concepts
- Ability to prioritize requirements and manage delivery timelines, ability to lead team of developers.
- Apply best practices for effective communication and problem-solving
- Candidate should be self-motivated, independent, detail oriented
Qualification: Degree in Engineering or Bachelor of Computer Application, B.E, B. Tech, MCA. MTech
