Heady Technologies - Salesforce Commerce Cloud OCAPI Developer - Apex/Visual Force (5-10 yrs) (Heady Technologies Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.)

Role:

- Heady is looking for a Software Engineer to support Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform. As the SFCC Developer, you will be responsible for working closely with the product owner along with a cross-functional team to implement new eCommerce solutions in an agile environment including development and testing. You will serve as a technical expert with deep experience with the SFCC platform and OCAPI development.

Responsibilities:

- Provide Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) technology expertise for solution design and technical implementation

- Build new OCAPI endpoints and update existing ones as per requirements

- Software design, code, unit test, and code review iterative improvements to the platform

- Independently deliver high-quality and well-documented code

- Collaborate across teams to determine the best path for Salesforce platform implementation

- Master the Salesforce development process, culture, and codebase, in order to improve it

- Handle basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks

- Understand the ins and outs of complex technology environments and know how to optimize solutions for efficiency and simplicity

- Stay in tune with latest Salesforce technology updates, changes, community, and roadmap(s)

- Ensure adherence to sound architecture

- Provide recommendations on ways to improve current DevOps processes

- Support existing environment including functional enhancements and issue resolution

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or similar degrees

- Minimum 3 years experience in implementing Salesforce Commerce Cloud OCAPI endpoints

- 3 years hands-on experience in web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, JQuery, Node, Angular, web analytics, XML, web services (SOAP/REST), and open-source packages/libraries

- The right candidate will demonstrate deep technical knowledge of SFCC OCAPI

- Must have hands-on SFCC and Java development experience.

- Must have worked on at least 2-3 end to end implementations of SFCC commerce projects.

- Knowledge of digital commerce components such as users, catalog, pricing, inventory, and payment

- Knowledge of digital commerce integration such as CMS, DAM, PIM, OMS, and ERP

- Certifications in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Nice to have)

- Experience doing development on the Salesforce Core platform including APEX, Visualforce, and/or Lightning Components (Nice to have)

- Experience with git source control and collaboration tool such as JIRA, Confluence, Slack

- Experience in agile development methodology

- Strong active listening, multitasking, interpersonal and organizational skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
