Salesforce Developer - Apex/Visual Force (4-8 yrs) (N R Consulting Services)

Qualifications/Experience:

1) B.E., B.Tech, BCA, MCA, or MS in Computer Science, Engineering or in related fields

2) 4 years to 8 years of experience in developing on Salesforce.com platform & APIs

3) 4+ years of Salesforce development and customization experience, including hands-on experience with APEX (including Salesforce triggers, batch APEX, controllers, SOAP/REST API), Visualforce, Lightning Components and Salesforce APIs

4) Hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and Community Cloud platforms

5) Experience with Salesforce Lightning platform, lightning components and sales/services console 6) Proficiency in data structures and databases

7) An understanding of metadata and extensibility of an infrastructure

8) Experience with Agile development practices and a sprint delivery mode

9) An ability to work in a self-directed, fast-paced (nimble) environment

10) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

11) An ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times

12) Curiosity and a passion for technology

13) A sense of ownership, pride in your work and a desire to strive for excellence

Bonus points if you have:

1) Object Oriented Development (Java/ J2EE) programming experience

2) Knowledge of DevOps tools such as CodeDeploy, Artifactory, SonarQube, Selenium, Jenkins

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Understanding and interpreting user requirements and turning them into technical realities

2) Utilizing your solid experience with web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) to build modern web applications

3) Automating business processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules and email Alerts

4) Performing data updates and migrations using Data Loader and other similar tools

5) Migrating changes from development to test to production environment(s) using CLI technologies like Salesforce DX

6) Implementing simple and scalable solutions

7) Ensuring that development progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time

8) Advocating code craftsmanship, good coding standards and appropriate use of tools that will improve the quality of the delivered code

9) Contributing to internal and external meetings by providing solutions and recommendations
