The Job :
- As a Senior Software Engineer in our Digital Engineering unit, you will be part of a fast-paced team designing, developing, testing, integrating and supporting technically innovative solutions for our Fortune 500 customers.
- You will leverage your wide range of experiences, developed professional concepts as well as understanding of the industry, customer and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative ways.
- You will be required to work on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
Your work includes:
- Communicating effectively with global customers and collaborating well within a team environment to drive results.
- Leading the development and testing of applications.
- Embracing new technologies and working with various tools and technologies to achieve desired functionality.
- Working on problems of diverse scope, developing solutions to technology challenges and delivering the requirements within deadlines.
- Following standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can readily be obtained.
- Contributing to your BU or the practice by documenting your learnings and engaging with the external tech community.
- Actively participating in organizationlevel activities and events related to learning, formal training, interviewing, special projects etc.
The Profile :
- You have at least 1 year hands-on experience with Camunda (BPM & DMN) and have a minimum of 5 years experience as a software developer.
- Experience in software integration and/or other ESB experience along with prior work in SOAP and REST are a must.
- You have worked on both small and large scale implementations, and have collaborated with geographically distributed teams.
- Strong experience in the Application Integration Architecture, Solution Design, and Development using SOA/EAI solutions is also required.
- You have solid programming skills using J2EE, Design Patterns, JMS, XSLT, CXF, Spring Framework, etc. and Java (Springboot) or Python.
- Experience using large distributed systems along with legacy experience would be advantageous
- You have worked with both agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills and the ability to interact with all level of stakeholders, support personnel, and clients is required.
- Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.
- You possess good knowledge of implementing best practices for logging, monitoring & alerting.
- You also possess good CI/CD knowledge and the ability to configure them.
- You can build and lead effective teams and also diversify your knowledge base in broader areas beyond your programs/assignments.
- A few preferred knowledge areas would be - AWS, NetSuite integration, Salesforce integration, Terraform, Jira & Confluence, BRE & BPM, Workato and Docker.
