Job Title : Vice President - Salesforce Technology
Location : Mumbai
Role description :
- As a Salesforce head, you will draw on your skills and experience to assess requirements and architecture in order to design & develop secure, high-performance technical solutions that maximize the potential of the Salesforce platform.
- You will be confident clarifying business needs and working on the design of the solution with the Technical Architect.
- In parallel, you will be adept at guiding and coaching junior developers within the team.
Job Responsibilities :
- Architect and lead the technical design of applications on the Salesforce platform
- Help the wider business understand how Salesforce fits into technical landscape
- Manage the technical delivery within the team
- Lead and drive technical workshops
- Understanding and application of best practices and effective patterns
- Coach and mentor junior technical team members
- Evangelist of the latest thinking around the platform, technical delivery and devops - Own development life-cycle and support release management strategy
- Ownership of technical documentation
- Working closely with functional and test leads
- Contribute to the wider technical landscape by providing technical expertise Requirements -
- Proven track record leading technical delivery of complex Salesforce solutions -
- Be able to effectively communicate technical concepts to drive decision making -
- Deep technical platform experience of the Salesforce Lightning platform - Development experience with Apex, VF and Lightning Components - At least one advanced technical certification (e.g. domain architect / platform dev) - Strong grasp of cloud integration patterns and technology options
- Experience of agile delivery and dev-ops principles and tooling
- Data migration from legacy platforms Experience with any of the following would be an advantage -
- Wider Salesforce technology (e.g. Marketing Cloud, Heroku, CPQ, Field Service, Financial Services Cloud or Health Cloud) - Wider eCommerce & marketing technologies such as Hybris, Commerce Cloud, Adobe, Sitecore - Security and identity such as Salesforce Shield and identity management - Other languages or frameworks (e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS, React etc) -
- Integration, messaging or API management platforms such as Mulesoft or Apigee - Testing automation frameworks such as Selenium or Provar -
- Enterprise Architecture certifications or experience
- Mobile application design and development (native, web or hybrid) (native, web or hybrid)
- Candidate having building the end to end salesforce from scratch in a product based company will be an added advantage
- Candidate should have atleast minimum two year of experience as a salesforce architect
- Strong hold on designing entire salesforce architecture and managing a big team size for a product based company.

- Head of program management
- Members of the Program Management team lead critical, cross-functional, and complex initiatives to completion by ensuring that geographically distributed teams execute seamlessly.
Responsibilities :
- Management of cross functional programs aligned with product verticals. In this capacity, the Program Manager will partner with Product, Engineering and Go-To-Market leaders to identify, prioritize, plan, execute, launch, and close complex product development initiatives.
- Partner with the Engineering and IT leadership to identify and spearhead the execution of technology initiatives aimed at improving software development processes, internal applications, and IT infrastructure.
Following are some key duties this role will perform :
- Manage initiation, planning, execution, launch and closure phases of programs. Ensure alignment of all program stakeholders behind overall objectives.
- Lead day to day execution of programs while keeping sight of strategic goals and working with teams comprising of highly accomplished engineering, UX, product and QA leads
- Interact with product, engineering and GTM executives on a daily basis in order to facilitate informed decision making - Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies
- Partner with Product and Engineering Managers to contribute towards product road-map planning, resource planning and prioritization tradeoffs
- Coach the product development teams on agile product development processes, attend scrum ceremonies, and provide hands-on consultation
- Set a gold standard for concise, polished, and crisp communication.
- Define, evangelize, and manage the evolution of custom processes and frameworks in order to fill process and execution gaps - Be a catalyst for change in the organization, lead without authority and handle evolving change efforts by establishing excellent rapport with stakeholders
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a strongly associated discipline
- In-depth and practical knowledge of agile development methodologies
- At least 10 years of overall experience, of which 5 years in program management or similar experience where the candidate has led complex cross-functional initiative end to end
- At least 4 years of experience interacting (presenting, facilitating decisions making) with VP and C-Level managers
- Must be technically savvy and completely at ease with leading successful engineering focused discussions
- Should have experience in Product based organizations
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to tailor the communication style to suit the audience and the situation
- Pragmatic and logical approach - ability to rein in creative minds at the right time in order to ensure focus on execution
- Ability to quickly understand context and apply big picture thinking to achieve tangible results
