We are working on cloud solutions (Azure/AWS) to provide a business wide event driven platforms that will be the basis for many mission critical applications across our client base.

The role of the Software Engineer/Architect is to foster a team of innovative and highly performing software engineers in a rapidly growing, highly technical and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and the drive and skill to help team members succeed technically and professionally.

The Lead Software Engineer/Architect is expected to own projects and deliverables and communicate proactively with business partners, the agile team and upper management.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

- Work in an Agile Scrum environment, focusing on sustainable development of high performance scalable, and maintainable enterprise solutions.

- Collaborate with the team to facilitate design discussions around architecture and business requirements with Architects, Product Owners, and Business Analysts. Take ownership of undefined and unbounded problems and work with the team to create and deliver scalable designs and solutions.

- Provide technical leadership, direction, and oversight of development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and development best practices across products, teams, architecture, and implementations.

- Ensure successful system delivery to the production environment and assist the operations and support team in resolving production issues, as necessary.

- Team development, coaching and providing feedback to individual team members, training and support so all team members have and use required technical competencies.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding best practices.

Additional Responsibilities (From time to time, as and when required) :

- Independently drive end to end presales, technical solutioning, response and estimation on opportunities (RFI/RFP/RFQ)

- Defining the features and scope of POCs (Proof of Concepts) for all stated requirements

- Respond to RFI/RFQ/RFPs within stipulated timelines

- Prepare and deliver Statement of Work detailing the technical and commercial proposal to the Clients

- Drive and Manage large and complex bids

- Bringing creative ideas and new value propositions while building proposals

- Strong Research skills to find the optimum approach for all requirements

- Engaging with the Sales Team to bring the technical/domain expertise required in the sales cycle

- Architecting the right solution that aligns perfectly with the client requirements.

- Ability to understand intuitively what steps need to be planned to solve a complex range of problems
