Cytel - IT Lead - SOX Compliance (6-10 yrs) (Cytel)

Job Description :


- The Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance IT Lead (internally known as SOX compliance IT lead) will lead SOX compliance across IT Enterprise application landscape.

Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

- Ensure role-based access is developed and implemented in enterprise applications

- Implement request-based approval process for role assignments to users

- Maintain Segregation of Duty (SOD) matrix across enterprise applications

- Review enterprise applications to :

1) Identify, develop, and implement primary controls in enterprise applications

2) Identify, develop, and implement secondary controls in cases where primary control is not in place

3) Identify, develop, and implement process for risk assessment and acceptance

- Establish periodic review process to validate continued access to systems and roles

- Establish Change Control process across all Enterprise applications

- Ensure all Enterprise application changes follow established design, development, and quality assurance processes

- Engage in new projects to ensure compliance is part of all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

- Ensure mechanisms are in place and functioning as designed for enterprise application record retention

- Manage responses to all audit requests relating to Enterprise applications

- Work with business users to educate and develop appropriate controls and address audit findings

- Maintain all documentation relating to Enterprise application SOX compliance

- Maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings, etc. (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules and Security)

Qualifications and Experience :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or Finance with strong computer science background required

- 5-10 years of IT related Sarbanes-Oxley compliance experience

- Experience working in application controls related to Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, Recruit to Retire processes using ERP, HCM / HRM, CRM and cloud-based applications

- Experience working with internal and external audit teams for enterprise applications

- Ability to create workflows, define and implement business controls and provide detailed reporting

- Strong analytical skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret control requirements and mapping them to business applications

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts

- Experience working both in a team environment and independently

- Experience in Life Science Industry a plus

Skills :

- Experience with Intacct ERP, SAP SuccessFactors, Salesforce experience is a plus

- Microsoft Office, Visio, MS Project
