Salesforce Developer (4-7 yrs) (Talentola Solutions Pvt. Ltd.)

Job Description :

- Performs hands on development and support on Salesforce platform. Works closely with business to understand business process and requirements on Salesforce and builds the capabilities. Also works with Salesforce development team of system integrators and collaborates in development of new capabilities on the platform.

- Works with systems that are upstream and downstream to Salesforce and perform the required analysis, development and support associated with integration of the applications. Facilitates business, function, and geography involvement in Salesforce specific deliverables to identify requirements, gather feedback, and finalize scope.

Responsibilities :

- Hands on development in all areas of Salesforce covering Account, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, and Case Management across both Classic and Lightning.

- Establishes and maintains relationships with business teams.

- Represents the needs of the business, function, or geography during implementation of new capabilities in Salesforce.

- Actively participates in IT projects where Salesforce integrates and is either upstream or downstream to other applications and take care of the required changes to ensure that business process is supported.

Skills :

- The job of IT Salesforce Platform Developer will be for someone who has:

- Conducted requirements gathering meetings with the business to collect functional and non-functional requirements relating to Salesforce application enhancements.

- Conducted brainstorming sessions with Biz/Development during the requirements analysis.

- Created data flow diagrams and process flow diagrams to facilitate better system understanding.

- Created new custom objects, assigned fields, designed page layouts, custom tabs and components.

- Outlined the organization hierarchy and created profiles, roles accordingly in Salesforce; worked on visibility and security settings around them as required by the business.

- Designed different custom dashboards for various user groups based on their business functionalities and needs.

- Created and deployed several reports for different user profiles based on the need in the organization.

- Designed various types of email templates for auto response to customers.

- Assisted in designing and creation of training material and conducted internal training sessions for business users on Salesforce technology functionalities.

- Supported business fixing issues on the Salesforce platform.

Qualification : Bachelors or equivalent degree with 2+ years of experience in the above.
