Salesforce DevOps Specialist

Required Experience and Qualifications :
- 6-8 years of experience in Salesforce DevOps.
- Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture
- Professional experience owning the end-to-end Software/Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including structured code management, environment management, continuous integration
- Experience on Salesforce Administration.
- Hands-on experience in Salesforce Deployment technologies like VS Code, Metadata API, SFDX, Change Sets, Ant, Copado etc.
- Experience on the administration of source code version control, branching and labeling using tools like GitLab.
- Experience on automation of governance/compliance processes.
- Ability to work with multi-country, distributed teams.
- Certification in Salesforce Administration
Position Overview :
- As a Salesforce DevOps Engineer, you will be focusing on CI/CD implementation on a Salesforce platform.
- Ensure the code lifecycle is properly managed throughout the environment from dev to production, using market and technical best tools and practices.
- The role requires you to have hands-on technical experience and a can-do approach towards Salesforce environment automation/management and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Work closely with development teams across local and remote locations
- Working with architects and system designers to define high-level solutions
- Creating DevOps scripts integrating Jenkins, BitBucket and other DevOps related technologies
- Working with Salesforce Developers and Automation Test Engineers to implement complete CI/CD pipelines
- Evangelize the maturing governance of CI/CD pipelines with teams and digest feedback for further efficiency
- Improving processes by delivering guidelines and automation for all Salesforce teams globally
- Ensure all Salesforce updates seamlessly move from development through staging to production.
- Manage Salesforce platform production deployments working in an agile methodology environment
- Act on the evaluation of new technologies to solve problems as needed and play a forward-thinking role in test and deploy service design.
- Automate and streamline our operations and processes to achieve high-availability of environments and applications.
- Proactively investigate and propose improvements on the ongoing activities and processes.
