Development Manager - Salesforce Commerce Platform (8-13 yrs) (Process Matterz)

Responsibilities :

- Define and implement software development and industry best practices, while delivering the customer projects, with superior quality and customer satisfaction

- To guide, mentor, assign and control the assigned development resources to develop super scalable SaaS managed application

- Being a hands-on technical person, with prior Architecture and presales exposure,

- Manage people and build a competent and capable team, while ensuring timely delivery on projects

- Drive initiatives around continuous improvement, quality and support approaches to improve productivity and efficiency in all areas

- Responsible for the quality, productivity, efficiency and billable utilization of the engineering team

- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum)

- Prior experience working collaboratively with other practices, geographies and customers

- Ability to define, monitor and manage metrics

- Effective utilization of people and delivering consistent productivity gains, via reusability

Skills :

- Strong hands on experience in Salesforce commerce platform

- Strong prior experience CMS and commerce platforms as Salesforce, Adobe, Sitecore and Magento

- In depth knowledge and practical experience of website frontend development (HTML, CSS and JavaScript)

- Should have working knowledge of JavaScript libraries like jQuery, requires etc.

- Min. 7 years of Salesforce commerce exp.

- Cross browser and platform development experience, including web development for mobile and tablet

- Must understand site security, site performance and optimization

- Understanding of site usability issues

- Strong retail and e-commerce exposure

- Good knowledge of design patterns and software development best practices

- Able to define and lead technical approach with development team

- Knowledge of Web accessibility according to WAI guidelines and W3C coding standards

Education :

- Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline - mandatory

- MCA or other Master's degree and any other technical qualifications - beneficial

Location/travel required :

Base Location : Pune

Travel to other company locations and client sites, depending on the project requirement.
