Job Description :
- A QA Manager is primarily responsible for on-time deliveries, project resource management.
- A QA Manager should be the all-time point of contact for both; offshore team (i.e. Devs, QAs, TLs) and respective onshore stakeholders for everything QA. A QA Manager is expected to possess expert-level knowledge of CRM platforms, domain functions, technology, and all QA processes and methodologies.
A QA Manager's duties and Responsibilities :
A QA Manager's duties can be categorized as :
- Delivery Management (~70% of the time)
- Billability of at least 16-20 hrs per week (Util Target).
- Be the thought leader and add niche dimensions to the solutions in terms of usability, scalability, quality, and maintainability.
- Task Management
- Setting priorities for the team
- Streamlining work from multiple channels
- Critical decision making
- Provide pre-sales and/or sales support
- Establishing and ensuring apt QA processes
- Setting the right expectations with all the respective stakeholders
- Proactive and diligent communication in all appropriate channels
- Establish necessary reporting mechanisms providing insights on throughput
- Act as QA Lead in all non-QA Lead projects
- Handling project perceptions
- Ensure all best practices including frameworks, tools, etc., are followed
- Help evaluate the use of reusable test plan components
- Resource Management (~30% of the time)
- Define allocations of Project QA Resource Requests
- Ramp up allocated resources with the necessary knowledge, skills, and expectations for smooth kickoff
- Monitor weekly assignments, schedules, and timecards. Ensure utilization targets of all QA resources are met.
- Manage back-ups or alternative resources - on-demand basis, during PTOs or during unexpected events
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources
- Design and drive programs to target optimum billability for reaching SL100 milestone
- Exhibit good interpersonal skills by being a team player, staying approachable and collaborative.
- Obtain and maintain Salesforce.com Certified Sales Cloud
- Certified Service Cloud certificates (+ all certifications of a QA Engineer).
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications :
- Required 10-15 years of Functional & Non-Functional Testing experience
- Required - SFDC certifications (Administrator, App Builder, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, FSC, HC, etc.)
- Required - Minimum 8 years of experience with SFDC application testing
- Required - Minimum 10 years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with test automation and frameworks (GhostInspector, Java, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Jenkins, Maven, BitBucket, SauceLabs)
- Experience in Financial Services, Healthcare, Marketing Cloud / Pardot industries
- Experience with Mulesoft, Vlocity or nCino
