SBL Technologies - Salesforce Test Engineer - Automation/Functional Testing (4-6 yrs) (SBL Technologies)

Responsibilities:

- The QA Engineer will be responsible for QA life cycle which primarily includes creation of Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test Cases/Script & Defect lifecycle management.

 The person is responsible -

- The major function of a Salesforce Tester includes services like Functional testing, Unit Testing, Manual Testing, Automated Testing, Load Testing, Deployment testing, and Security Testing.

- Manual testing, for which specific type of experience and skills related to testing are not required, mainly includes the testing of Salesforce. com App using a human with a methodical approach.

- Salesforce testers are required to test Salesforce. com or Force. com apps functional testing which incorporated Unit Testing and Process Testing.

- Testers having experience with AssureClick, Selenium, QTP etc. play a vital role in Salesforce Automated Testing.

- Participate in regular scrum meetings, planning and story pointing sessions, design and Defect Triaging.

- Define and report daily and weekly status reports & QA Metrics

- Define Automated Test Plans, Regression Test Suites including UI, back end, Salesforce components & Integrations using Web and API automation.

- Conduct requirement analysis, develop strategies and execute test cases through function maps (automated or manual).

- Send product updates, identify production issues, and implement integrations to meet customer needs.

Requirements :

- Degree in Computer Science or any equivalent and 6+ Years of experience in QA & SFDC platform

- In depth Knowledge of Salesforce Administration is mandatory.

- Strong Knowledge of Salesforce Architecture

- Good hands-on testing experience with the Salesforce UI and navigation

- Good knowledge of Reports, page layouts and customizations

- Working knowledge of Standard and Custom Objects and Tabs

- Experience around Salesforce - CPQ, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud

- Working knowledge of triggers, workflows, validation rules, configuration and Apex data loader

- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, procedures & testing techniques.

- Strong knowledge on Agile methodology, API Testing.

- Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment

- In-depth knowledge of salesforce capabilities and constrains with good understanding

- Experience in implementing at least one large scale salesforce.com project is a plus

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment

- Ability to work in a global cross-functional environment

- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise professional manner, tailored to the appropriate audience; including both verbal and written communications

Nice to have:

- Knowledge on Salesforce REST APIs

- Knowledge of different testing methodologies such as TDD, Data Driven Testing.

- Concepts of CI/CD are added advantage using tools such groovy

- Good knowledge in SQL, API testing (using SoapUI, Postman or similar)

Basic Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree

- 4+ years of SFDC QA.

- Experience around Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) and Salesforce CRM, Opportunities and Leads,

- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, procedures & testing techniques.

- Strong knowledge on SalesForce, API Testing.
