Senior IT Business System Analyst - Salesforce (6-15 yrs) (Ciel HR Services Pvt Ltd)

Responsibilities and Duties :

1. Identify, document, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.

2. Evaluate and identify business process gaps.

3. Manage projects or system enhancements.

4. Document business processes and system flows.

5. Build and automate reports for Audit and Business Users.

6. Analyze and document current and future business process models, high-level requirements (scope), and detailed functional specifications and/or stories; communicate with technical and business teams effectively.

7. Develop solutions for software sales motions (including high touch and solution selling) from lead to the full managed customer lifecycle (close, renewal etc.), Quote-to-Cash (QTC), customer support, retention, consulting delivery

8. Drive process enablement, automation, functional design and integration of platforms into data sources and related platforms, including downstream billing platforms and upstream marketing platforms.

9. Identify potential data quality risks in Salesforce and other GTM systems, and partner with operations teams to take preemptive measures where necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Minimum of 6 years Salesforce experience with relevant certifications (Advanced Admin, CPQ, Application Architect, etc); CPQ experience strongly preferred.

2. Business Analyst-specific training and credentials a plus.

Has B2B/SaaS experience working with and / on solutions such as CRM, CPQ, PRM, CLM, Mktg Automation to support field sales and sales operations, support, and consulting operations.

3. Understands SDLC methodology - including Agile and Waterfall approaches, functional requirements, process modeling, and re-engineering, use case development, user acceptance testing, organizational change management, and large-scale system implementations.

4. Has experience working with adjacent systems: Marketo, CPQ, Callidus, Zendesk.

5. Fundamental Skills: BA concepts, eliciting requirements, specifying and managing requirements, proposing business solution design, evaluating and improving solution performance.

6. Highly skilled in BA Planning & Methods: Creating data flow diagrams, applying business analysis to IT projects, Agile teams, business architecture, and business process management, requirement specification, modeling, verification and validation.

7. Requirements Management: gathering, trace matrices, maintenance, prioritization, documentation, verification, and approval

8. Solution Development & Delivery: current state analysis, future state definition, risk assessment, defining change strategy, solution architecture design, value analysis.

9. Advanced: proposed solution assessment, requirements allocation, organizational readiness assessment, organizational transition planning, solution performance evaluation

10. Understanding of processes such as Quote-to-Cash flow (QTC), Account Plans, Forecasting, Deal Registration, Pipeline management, partner incentives, sales compensation.

11. Understanding of Six Sigma / related process improvement methodologies.

12. Understands business analysis as a profession and the fundamentals of the business analysis life cycle and its tools, techniques and best practices.
