Herman Miller - SFCC/SFRA/Demandware Developer (3-10 yrs) (Herman Miller)

This role transcends organizational and geographical boundaries as it aims at supporting and enabling the various divisions of the Herman Miller business across the globe. 


- The ideal candidate should understand the software development lifecycle and use agile methodology to design, develop, test and implement solutions that deliver on end-user needs.

Responsibilities:

- Develop web-based, e-Commerce projects on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Shopify platform.

- Analyze, debug/troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to e-commerce and SFCC implementation.

- Develop, implement and maintain Salesforce customizations, applications, extensions and integrations.

- Participate in the planning/analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements.

- Create testing and implementations plans, including user training, UAT and documentation.

- Active participation through all phases of the development lifecycle.

- Remain current with Salesforce technologies and best practices.

Requirements :

- 3-10 years of hands-on experience in developing web-based, e-Commerce projects on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)/Demandware.

- Experience in SFCC ECMAScript, XML, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, jQuery, JSON object definition, Java, Node.JS.

- Experience in using Pipelines, JS Controllers, ISML Templates and real-time data exchange using Web services.

- Good understanding of Business Manager and configuring jobs.

- Experience in Shopify platform development and styling, Shopify REST API will be an added advantage

- Good understanding of backend and frontend code.

- Experience with APIs and integrations.

- Knowledge of source control and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence.

- Experience working on an Agile development team preferably using SCRUM.

- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.

- Self-driven, motivated, result oriented.

- Strong organizational skills to deal with a varied workload and be responsive to the needs of the business

- Strong problem-solving and systems analysis skills

- Understands the necessity of and contributes to efficient coding standards

- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project delivery

- Ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software and tools currently used in the HMI office environment

- Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without supervision

- This role will work in the UK shift (12 noon to - 9 pm).
