Salesforce Developer - Apex/Visual Force (6-13 yrs) (Ara Resources)

Primary Responsibilities :

- Work with the lead/PM, responsible for customizing, developing and supporting solutions on force.com platform

- Develop high quality and scalable application logic with Apex development

- Expertise in design, development, data migration, testing, and troubleshooting.

- Perform code review

- Prepare training materials and conduct KT to support team and key business users.

- Able to interact with business stakeholders and help translate business requirements into technical and design solutions

Essential Knowledge :

6-13 years of Force.com experience in Visualforce and Apex development

- Experience in handling customers or end-users, understand well what end users need, and not what developers prefer. Customer-oriented.

- Having a good sense of Navigations. Sensitive to design that customers prefer, ease of use of a page or functionality.

- Experience in implementing HTML5+, Ajax, Javascripts in VisualForce pages

- Good troubleshooting skills, familiar with proxy servers, IE, Firefox, Chrome browser settings, including plugins like Firebug or equivalent network or request monitoring tools.

- Well understanding of HTTP GET/POST request, and ability to analysis GET/POST request and response.

- Well understanding of various Browser, mouse, keyboard events.

- Good understanding of cookies and session handling.

- Good sense of GUI with minimal graphic design skills.

- Web-Services knowledge and implementation experience is a plus.

- Solid understanding of Salesforce.com architecture and API- s

- Knowledge of enterprise solutions including CRM, Sales, Service, High Tech Industry(preferred)

- Working Experience with SOA Integrations.

- Good understanding of Salesforce application security, integration, performance and quality requirements

- Thorough understanding of SFDC governor limits and best practice guidelines

- Good knowledge with software development lifecycle practices and methodologies

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience in source code control using SVN and Tortoise

- Experience in writing codes that handles high transactions and heavy data load processing with optimum performance, at least 100,000 records in a single object.

- Experience in building complex UIs in VisualForce Pages that requires heavy scripting and reusable components

Education & Experience :

- Certified Force.com Developer (DEV 401) or equivalent experience

- Experience in customize Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

- Experience with Javascript, Javascript frameworks like JQuery and CSS3

- Experience in Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns

- Experience with Version control systems, Force.com IDE

- Experience in Sales processes are plus

- Experience in Bootstrap and jQuery UI is plus

Experience in Agile development methodology
