Director - Product Development - Salesforce - Healthcare Analytics Domain (18-28 yrs) (Hexaconcepts)

Client : An MNC in healthcare analytics domain

Position : Product Development Director - Salesforce

Experience : 18y - 28y

Location : Bangalore

Joining : Immediate to 30 days

The Director has accountability for defining the overall product development strategy, while managing and coordinating resources and processes to successfully deliver releases of the company's products in a reliable and predictable manner. The person should be hands on, should be able to guide the team, should be technically strong with good salesforce experience. Salesforce Certification would be big plus.

Responsibilities :

a) Establishing and managing appropriate DEVOPS principles and processes for the development, testing and release of software products

b) Collaborating with Product Management in defining the Product Vision, and alignment of that vision with practical development considerations and opportunities to introduce advanced technologies developed inhouse

c) Working closely with the Product Management team to plan and execute software cycles, end-of-sprint demos and retrospectives, and ultimate product releases

d) Working closely with the Architecture team to evolve existing platforms, other core technologies, design patterns and interfaces

e) Selecting optimal design concepts and fundamental technologies used for new products or improvements to existing ones, in accordance with parameters set by the Architecture group

f) Development of software development plans based on state-of the-art technologies and high a level of automation, particularly about quality assurance and traceability

g) Close oversight of key projects and processes, as well as analysis of performance reports and other data to derive insights into the status, velocity and trajectory of all development initiatives

h) Working with internal procurement resources to negotiate contracts with consulting firms for research, development, testing, or any other relevant supporting functions

i) Planning, resource management (including identification of incremental internal requirements), preparation of any necessary internal documentation, monitoring of activities and on-going reporting regarding all development and testing of company products

j) Demonstrating reliability, predictability and effective leadership to internal management and client through the controlled deployment of low-defect products, upgrades and enhancements in coordination with published release schedules

k) Integrating external and internal technical teams into a seamless organization, and ensuring on-going transparency, collaboration and free flow of ideas among all parties

l) Providing leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum levels of performance

m) Monitoring and managing individual employees performance while empowering individuals to exercise independent judgement and broad latitude in executing their respective duties.

Requirements :

a) A minimum of 8 years of management and leadership experience in a software development organization

b) A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Agile and DEVOPS processes

c) A minimum of 5 of years hands-on commercial software development experience using mainstream programming languages

d) Should have at least 10 yrs of experience in product development/management

d) A proven track record as the most senior member of a development team in successfully delivering commercial software products

e) Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills

f) Must have hands on experience with Salesforce

Educational Qualifications :

A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technology-related domain
