Senior Support Engineer - ITIL (3-6 yrs) (Career net)

Desired skills and experience :

- 4-6 years- experience supporting internet systems, with co-dependencies on a wide range of geographically diverse partner systems

- Proficient in writing SQL queries and very good knowledge on MySQL and MSSQL databases.

- Good knowledge on Linux, Networking and hands on experience in Jenkins for deployments.

- Must have experience in supporting salesforce platform applications.

- Hands on experience of application support in Java. Understanding of different types of application errors & exceptions. Analyzing logs, debugging and driving to closer.

- Coordinating with different teams and stakeholders for resolving the issues related to application and data reconciliations.

- Experience of using IT management software and tools (JIRA, Confluence & Statuspage)

- Good understanding of ITIL process like Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management concept.

- Excellent in Microsoft Excel - e.g. macros, pivots and other reporting functions

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Preferred - writing windows batch scripts, setting up crontabs in Linux and Splunk programming language

- Experience on automation tools/processes and open to learn new tools & technologies.

- Proven ability to take up customer facing role which involves multiple stakeholder management

- Excellent English - both written and verbal

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a reputable institution

- Passion to personally grow, and curiosity to continually learn and shape our international support team
